Alyth (Perthshire) :
Originally laid out by Tom Morris and redesigned by James Braid. This is a well-kept compact moorland golf course. Fairways are flat and the rough is kindly. This is a fun course, which is full of character and a pleasant reprieve from some of the more taxing tracks on tour. With a length of 6205 yards, it is not overly long and is a good course for mid-handicappers but still requires thought for every swing. Par 70 and Standard Scratch of 71.
