Gleneagles - Kings & Queens (Perthshire)
:
The three courses at Gleneagles are blessed with surroundings of awe inspiring beauty reflecting a truly highland landscape. The Kings and Queens courses were both designed by James Braid (a five times Open winner). When Lee Trevino first played the Kings he memorably remarked “If heaven is as good as this, I sure hope they have some tee times left”. The Kings Course is the former home to the Scottish Open and is regarded by many as one of the finest golf resorts in the world. This moorland course has a length of 6471 yards, a Par of 70 and Standard Scratch of 70. The Queens Course is shorter with a length of 5965 yards, Par 68 and Standard Scratch of 70. Although shorter, it possesses many challenges with water hazards on almost every hole.
