Carnoustie :
Venue for a memorable Open Championship in 2007 but probably best known for 1999, where Jean Van De Velde will be eternally remembered for blowing a 3 shot lead on the final hole. Although the last 3 holes are the toughest finish in Championship golf, it is a fair course, which if the wind is kind need not prove too intimidating. Length 6941 yards, Par 72 and Standard Scratch 75.
