This lovely wooded heathland course was founded in 1871 - the original course being laid out by four time Open Champion Old Tom Morris of St Andrews with alterations being made in 1926 by James Braid. Situated only 12 miles from Carnoustie in the heart of picturesque Angus, Forfar’s tight undulating heathland fairways combined with a classical layout create conditions similar to links golf. An ideal test for all abilities of golfer.
