This is a very testing Open Championship Final qualifying course. The course is situated on a narrow strip which hugs the coastline and Golfers are rewarded with fine seaside views of the Firth of Forth. One side follows the contours of a rocky, exposed beach, whilst the other side follows the wall of the Old Deer Park, making it a challenging course for all levels of players. It is no surprise that all of the major Scottish Championships have been hosted here.
