Royal Troon :
Established 1878 but not on the Open circuit until 1923. It is now a regular and popular venue. Its many renowned golf holes include 'the postage stamp', and are famous the world over. Boasting a length of 7150 yards, it proves a challenge for even the most experienced of golfers. Additionally, high winds coupled with deep rough and broom demand accurate shot making. It has a Par of 71 and a Standard Scratch of 75. The Portland course (6289 yards) is included in the green fees as is lunch.
