Arrive at Glasgow Airport and fly to Islay. On arrival in Islay, you will be transferred to the Machrie Hotel. Play Machrie. Stay at the Machrie Hotel x 1 night.

DAY 2

Travel to the Mull of Kintyre and play Machrihanish Dunes. Stay at Ugadale Cottages in the village at Machrihanish Dunes x 3 nights.

DAY 3

Play Machrihanish

DAY 4

Play Machrihanish Dunes.

DAY 5

You will be transferred to Campbeltown airport where you will fly to Glasgow.

Machrihanish Dunes (x 2) - Designed by David McLay Kidd, who is responsible for the internationally acclaimed Bandon Dunes in Oregon, this breathtaking links has been built on a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). It is set hard against the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, and follows the natural terrain, with 6 tees and 5 greens sitting on the ocean's edge.

Machrihanish - Tom Morris laid out the course in 1876. A very hospitable club to visitors. The unique quality of the turf has been much admired - sandy but yet rich and springy. The greens are large and sculptured and each hole is unique enough to be remembered long after you round, particularly the 1st.

Machrie - At 6250 yards long, the Machrie course has spectacular views and can be challenging to even the most experienced of golfers. It has been described as a subtle beast with a sense of humour. In the natural sand dunes lurk its wicked teeth, and it has an unpredictable temperament sometimes provoked by winds of varied strengths and direction.

Machrie Hotel, Islay - Perched above the golden sands of Laggan Bay, the Machrie Hotel offers excellent service in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
