Drumgolf 2010 Open Championship at St Andrews Packages Drumgolf has formulated a selection of itineraries for the 2010 Open Championship at St Andrews, which feature below. These combine playing on some exceptional Scottish Links with quality accommodation and tickets to the Open Championship. We are confident that these will provide you with the opportunity to watch golf’s finest in action, whilst experiencing a real flavour of our traditional hospitality. This fantastic package is based on 7 nights accommodation combining the final 2 days of the British Open Championship with an unbelievably rare guaranteed Old/ New Course Tee Time Package just a few days later. The itinerary also includes a journey north to play the challenging and enthralling Royal Aberdeen and Cruden Bay. This package is based on a 5 night stay at the 3 star Queens Hotel in Dundee (approx 20 minutes drive from St Andrews). It includes a round on Panmure and Kingsbarns, tickets to the final 2 days of the Open Championship and a rental vehicle. This package is based on a 4 night stay at the 4 star Hilton Hotel in Dundee It includes a round on Panmure and Gleneagles, tickets to the final 2 days of the Open Championship and a rental vehicle. This package is based on a 3 night stay at the 4 star Hilton Grosvenor Hotel, Edinburgh and includes tickets to the final 2 days of the Open Championship and rail transportation to the Open Championship. This package is based on a 7 night stay at the 3 star Ardgowan Hotel, St Andrews which is extremely close to the Old Course (1 minute walk) and includes a hospitality ticket for the duration of the Open Championship and a return transfer from Edinburgh Airport to St Andrews on arrival & departure days.

Golf Course Selection Kingsbarns - Only 6 miles from St Andrews. With its true links turf, contoured rolling fairways and majestic vistas of the sea, this course is already considered a classic! The sea plays an integral role in the course design and the sandy dunes also feature prominently in enhancing the course landscape. As Sir Michael Bonallack (recently retired secretary of the R&A) remarks - "Kingsbarns might well be one of the last true seaside links sites capable for development in Scotland" Panmure–The club was formed in 1845. Yet another Open Championship qualifying course. The initial flat 3 holes give way to some classic contoured terrain which makes for a memorable golf course. The par 4 sixth in particular is as testing a golf hole as you will play in Scotland. Hogan secretly practised here before proceeding to win the Open at Carnoustie in 1953. Beware of the gorse! Accommodation Selection Queens Hotel, Dundee - Built in 1878, the Queens Hotel is one of the last privately owned hotels in Dundee. Ideally situated for the golf and just minutes from the shopping centre, university, theatre and bustling West End bars and restaurants.

Golf Course Selection Gleneagles - The three courses at Gleneagles are blessed with surroundings of awe-inspiring beauty reflecting a truly highland landscape. The Kings and Queens courses were both designed by James Braid (a five times Open winner). When Lee Trevino first played Gleneagles he memorably remarked "If heaven is as good as this, I sure hope they have some tee times left".

Accommodation Selection Ardgowan Hotel, St Andrews – This 3 star hotel could not be much closer to the Old Course. No more than a minute's walk and you will be at the 18th Grandstand!
