Road trip to Glencoe via Port Appin

A road trip is a great way to discover the wonders of Scotland at your own pace. Port Appin is a quaint little fishing village that is worth a visit before heading to Glencoe. If you have time, you can hire bicycles and explore the area. Make sure to take your camera and get a photograph of Castle Stalker, a romantic ruined castle situated on a tiny rock island. With the feel of mountains hanging over you there can be few more dramatic scenes than Glencoe. A Great pub called the Clachaig Inn, which is full of Climbers and Walkers, is situated deep in the Glen.  It’s a great stopping place for a drink and food or stay overnight in one of the relaxing rooms to soak up the atmosphere and make the most of of your trip .  Remember to ask the staff about things to do in the area including  the Landrover Safari’s and Guided Walks.
