Formerly the Claymore, this cheerful family-owned hotel has received a massive refurbishment in the last few years to create a contemporary and welcoming base from which to explore the Highlands. The cosy lounge bar is a popular and lively spot where guests and non-residents can sit next to the open fire and enjoy a wee dram or a bite to eat if a meal in the restaurant seems like too much! The Clubhouse is ideally located in a quiet residential area close to the beach and Nairn Golf Club but it is always a hub of activity and a lively place to stay. It is also just over an hour’s drive north to Dornoch.
