You are in safe hands with Alex, Drumgolf’s steadfast Driver who has been described throughout his time with us as ‘dependable,’ ‘a rock steering everyone in the right direction,’ and a ‘friend.’ Born in St Andrews, Alex has spent the vast majority of his life in the area, working at the Airforce Base in Leuchars for 40 years, and latterly, looking after his livestock, which keep him busy when he’s not herding Drumgolfers! So it’s fair to say, there is very little he doesn’t know about St Andrews and its environs. Previously a member of Kingsbarns Golf Club and a junior member at Crail, he now plays most of his golf at Elmwood…if he ever gets the chance! He is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure his passengers have the best experiences possible and you can be rest assured he will always arrive on time with a smile on his face and an infectious enthusiasm to show off the beautiful countryside he is proud to call home. Alex simply loves showing off the fishing villages of the East Neuk of Fife, so if you are lucky enough to have his services during your trip, you can almost definitely look forward to a guided tour there!
